A very nice (and rare) genuine 12 bore boxlock non-ejector ‘Live Pigeon’ shotgun made by Charles Boswell in 1913. 30” Nitro proofed barrels (re-proved at .740” in 1979), the breech end engraved with a pigeon. Broad raised, file cut top rib, tubes signed ‘Charles Boswell maker, 26 The Strand, London’ (min wall thicknesses 26 and 25 thou). 2¾” chambers, bored approx. ½ and full choke. Large frame treble-grip action with side-clips, automatic safety, beaded border and scroll engraving. Figured 14¼” semi pistol grip stock, which was sadly marred by a crack at the wrist but this has now been professionally repaired and looks good (I have shot a couple of rounds of Skeet with this gun since repair and there are no problems with the strength of the stock). Comes in a good Charles Boswell oak and leather motoring case with some accessories. Weight 7lb. 11oz. |

A superb 12 bore Beretta model 471 EL single trigger side by side ejector game gun. 28" barrels bored at approx 1/4 and 3/4 choke with 3" chambers. Full colour case hardened locks with gold ducks and woodcock to the side-plates. Single selective trigger with auto safety. Figured 14 3/4" stock. Comes in it's fitted plastic case with manual etc. The gun is in 'as new' condition. These models are rare in the UK but very popular in the States where they sell for around $7000 (£4250). If you are looking for a single trigger side by side and can't afford a Boss then this is the one for you. |

A lovely little AYA No.4 boxlock ejector in 20 bore. 27" barrels with mint bores choked at full & full+ and 2.75" chambers. Border and scroll engraved action retaining nearly all of its original colour case hardening. Good length (14.75") figured stock. The gun is in really nice condition. New ones of these are well over £2000. |

A very good 12 bore bar action sidelock non ejector by John Lemon & Son, Enniskillin. 301/4" nitro proofed fine Damascus barrels with excellent bores and barrel wall thicknesses. 21/2" chambers and choked at IC & full. Dipped edge sidelocks showing lots of original finish with best rose, scroll and border engraving. Signed 'John Lemon & Son' in banner on both locks and 'John Lemon & Son Enniskillin' on barrel top rib. Figured 141/2" stock (including extension) with fine chequering and vacant silver oval. Splinter type fore-end with engraved latch and horn tip. A nice Irish sidelock for very reasonable money. |
