A fine .303 cal private purchase Magazine Lee Enfield Mk1 (Long Lee) rifle, manufactured by BSA and retailed by W J Jeffery & Co. of London. 30.5" barrel (good bore) with ladder rear sight and ramp fore sight (with steel sight protector). Bolt with safety and dust cover, inscribed with retailers inscription 'W J Jeffery & Co. 60 Queen Victoria Street, London, EC'. Magazine cut off, front and rear volley sights. Beautifully figured full length stock with single barrel band and nose cap, brass butt plate with trap containing correct oil bottle and pull through. This rifle retains almost all of it's original finish and is one of the best I have ever seen.
