A very good quality reproduction of an Alexander Murdoch, all steel flintlock 'Scottish' Pistol.  Approx 19 cm steel smoothbored round barrel of.543 calibre which is slightly fluted and octagonal at the muzzle, ball trigger, belt clip on the left hand side. Valid blackpowder proof mark with recommended maximum load of 55 grains of blackpowder behind a 250 grain lead ball.
